 Welcome
 ...In 1941, a small group of enthusiastic yachtsmen decided that the
existing yacht clubs did not meet their needs and desires. They were
sailors who owned sailing yachts and deeply loved the sea. They enjoyed
the companionship of the men and women who shared those feelings.
Meeting in Don
Pederson's boat yard in Newport Beach, California, they formed the Viking
Sailing Club. The club grew and was later renamed Voyagers Yacht
Club. The Voyagers are known for their racing history, and hosts some of
Newport Beach's most prestigious races and regattas, such as the Humphrey Bogart
Race Series and the Hot Rum Race Series.
The Voyagers
today, are looking for you and other potential members who have a love being out
on the ocean with the wind blowing and the sun shining. If this describes
you, then the Voyagers Yacht Club is the organization you are looking for.
The Voyagers cater to the individuals who after a hardy day at sea, enjoy
kicking back and relaxing with good friends.
The atmosphere is
